Job summary

MCA - Alpolic, a leader in advanced materials, seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead plant-level power, controls, automation, and reliability initiatives. You will design, upgrade, and maintain electrical systems, PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA integrations while ensuring safety, documentation, and compliance.

Work closely with maintenance, production, IT, and vendors to troubleshoot chronic failures and execute projects from design through commissioning.

Qualifications

Design, specify, modify, and support industrial electrical and control systems.
Program, configure, troubleshoot Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, and Siemens PLC/HMI platforms.
Support SCADA and OT systems, including Ignition integration.
Maintain backups of PLC, HMI, drive, and network configurations.

Responsibilities

Design and implement power distribution, motor-control, and control-system upgrades.
Lead equipment upgrades and commissioning from concept to startup.
Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and process teams to ensure safe, maintainable installations.
Develop documentation and validation for controls and electrical systems.
Provide on-call support for significant equipment events and plant incidents.
