Job summary

Constellium Muscle Shoals, Alabama, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership for electrical infrastructure and manufacturing systems in a high‑volume aluminum production environment. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
3 years of engineering experience preferred.
Knowledge of materials related to facilities and equipment maintenance.
Proficiency with ladder logic and HMI software; AutoCAD 2013+.
Experience with machine control systems, PLCs, motor control, and low/medium voltage power.
Working knowledge of DC drives.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong problem solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Implements systematic approaches to diagnose equipment failures or inefficiencies.
Supports troubleshooting, repairs, and corrections to analog, digital, and computerized process control systems.
Applies engineering principles to rolling, casting, slitting, and coating processes in operations.
Provides design modifications to improve safety, quality, productivity, and process cost.
Improves the level of preventive maintenance and equipment reliability.
Coordinates outage/construction project activity with production and maintenance departments.
Assists in preparation of comprehensive capital maintenance and capital investment projects.
Mentors and develops subordinates for advancement in the organization.
