Job summary

CECO Environmental is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team in Florida. You will design and develop control systems, prepare technical documentation, and support project proposals for industrial air, water, and energy transition applications.

The role emphasizes collaboration within a cross-functional team, adherence to safety and industry codes, and hands-on involvement in drawings, PLC logic, and system integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 3–5 years of experience designing industrial control equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with IEC, NEC and NFPA codes and standards.
• Proficiency in technical writing is required.
• Experience with AutoCAD and PLC-based control systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops control systems based on customer specifications.
• Prepares and reviews technical documentation and drawings.
• Collaborates with project team to meet deadlines and scope.
• Inspects and validates electrical design against drawings and standards.
• Supports sales with scope and estimate development.
• Preforms electrical procurement surveillance and related duties.
