Job summary

CECO Environmental is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our global engineering team. You will design and develop control systems for industrial equipment, prepare technical documentation, and support sales with scope and estimates.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in electrical engineering, 3–5 years of experience in industrial control design, and solid AutoCAD and PLC skills. Knowledge of IEC/NEC/NFPA and strong technical writing are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited program.
• 3–5 years of experience designing industrial control equipment.
• AutoCAD experience required; PLC/relay based control design experience.
• Knowledge of IEC, NEC, NFPA; strong technical writing; collaborative work style.

Responsibilities

• Design control systems based on customer specifications.
• Prepare engineering documents and proposals.
• Create designs and drawings using CAD templates or updated CAD files.
• Review drawings for scope alignment and standards compliance.
• Assist sales with scope and estimates for proposals.
• Perform inspection of outsourced electrical procurement.
