A manufacturing company in Eau Claire, WI, seeks a Specialist Engineer - Electrical responsible for the electrical design of Industrial Ground Support Equipment. Applicants should have an AS degree in Electrical Engineering and three years of relevant experience, particularly in control systems. This role includes system design, control programming, and documentation. The position offers a salary range of $85,000 to $105,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience with industrial type equipment and their control systems.
• Capable of schematic layout, wiring sizing, and control cabinet layouts.
• Automotive type wiring harness design, and layout experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Layout of the Electrical system architecture for new product development.
• Creation and maintenance of electrical documentation.
• Close support of first product start-up with testing team.

Skills

Ability to read mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic circuit diagrams

AC motors control experience

PLC programming experience

Working knowledge of C programming language

Familiarity with UL, NEC, and CE compliance

Education

AS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Tools

CoDeSys development software

Solidworks or equivalent 3D CAD software
