Job summary

Electrotech International is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design and documentation for a major industrial automation program spanning two production lines and 66+ stations. You will produce the complete drawing package, define the control and safety architecture, interface Fanuc robotics and process equipment, and support on-site commissioning through FAT/SAT.

This hands-on role requires taking ownership from concept through commissioning, with on-site FAT/SAT

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering background (degree or equivalent industrial experience).
• Complete electrical design packages: schematics, panel layouts, interconnection & field-device drawings.
• IO list development and device tagging for PLC-controlled systems.
• Industrial control & power distribution design (UL 508A familiarity a plus).
• Fanuc robot integration and ProfiSafe / functional-safety wiring.
• Safety circuit design, LOTO, and isolation documentation.
• FMEA / PFMEA on electrical subsystems.
• ECAD tools (EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar).
• Comfortable providing on-site FAT / SAT and commissioning support.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete electrical design package and documentation from schematic through SAT.
• Interface Fanuc robotics and process equipment and define control/safety architecture.
• Lead on-site FAT/SAT support and commissioning activities.
• Deliver as-built drawings incorporating commissioning and FAT/SAT changes.
• Provide on-site technical resources during commissioning to resolve discrepancies.
