Job summary

Woodbridge Chattanooga Formed Plastics L.P. is seeking an experienced electrician/maintenance Teammate for our Chattanooga facility.

You will analyze and repair machine, facility, and process issues while performing preventative maintenance and training others. Candidates should have an associates degree in a technical field and about five years of related experience, with knowledge of hydraulics, PLCs, pneumatics, and Lean/5S practices.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical field
• Five years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents and training materials such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, and Kaizen is a plus
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and rectify machine, facility and process problems
• Complete machine Preventative Maintenance duties as scheduled
• Utilize electrical test equipment for troubleshooting electrical systems to determine corrective actions and repairs
• Help maintain inventory control of parts and equipment
• Provide training to other electricians and mechanics
• Keep area neat, organized and clean as well as follow 5S principles as they are appropriate
• Participate in health & safety and quality audit process
• Follow all general safety regulations and use provided safety equipment as required
