Job summary
Stanley Consultants in Muscatine, IA is seeking an Engineer-In-Training 1, Electrical to support professional engineers on diverse projects across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sectors. You will learn design and analysis of buildings and large non-building structures and assist in plan development using CAD tools.
The role emphasizes collaboration with experienced engineers, site visits, design computations, and adherence to City, County, State, Federal, and International codes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Strong willingness to learn and be mentored by Professional Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with experienced Professional Engineers and be mentored by leaders in electrical engineering.
- Assist on projects including design of steel and concrete structures and review of fabrication drawings.
- Conduct project site visits and field investigations.
- Perform design computations and develop structural analysis models.
- Assist in plan development using CAD and BIM tools.
- Adhere to company quality standards and applicable engineering codes.
