Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Electrical Engineer-in-Training to join the Buildings team in Phoenix. You will work with guidance on tasks and smaller projects, supporting the evaluation, specification, and coordination of electrical systems for building projects.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, perform basic calculations, Revit design, and data collection to support design decisions. A Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and EIT preferred. Regular full-time office role in Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum three years' experience (Engineer-in-Training preferred).
• Engineer-in-Training certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical components and systems under guidance to meet codes and standards.
• Interpret drawings, codes, and related materials.
• Perform Revit design for electrical discipline.
• Coordinate with other disciplines under senior engineer guidance.
• Carry out field work as directed by senior staff.
• Run basic calculations using company software and manufacturer tools.
• Support design decisions with data collection and analysis.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by senior engineers.
