Job summary

RRC Power & Energy, LLC. seeks an Electrical Engineer III – Substation P&C to design and support high‑voltage substation protection and control systems, with opportunities for remote work across the U.S. and Canada.

You will develop relay settings, review schematics, and coordinate with teams to deliver multiple projects safely and on time. The role requires 5+ years in power systems, experience with PSSE/ETAP, and strong communication skills for collaboration and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain.
• 5+ years in power system engineering, substation protection and controls.

Responsibilities

• Support design of high-voltage substation P&C systems (AIS/GIS).
• Prepare review of protection/control drawings and schematics.
• Develop relay settings and protection philosophy.
• QA/QC for P&C design packages and training of junior engineers.
