Job summary

Calpine Corporation seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer III to design, analyze, and optimize plant electrical systems in its gas-fired and geothermal fleet. You will work on high- and medium-voltage equipment, protection schemes, and power distribution to improve safety and reliability.

You will perform power system studies, support capital projects, and troubleshoot complex issues, applying data-driven methods while ensuring compliance with codes and environmental standards across the grid

Qualifications

Experience designing, analyzing, and optimizing plant electrical systems.
Experience with high- and medium-voltage equipment and protection schemes.
Ability to perform power system studies and support capital projects.
Strong problem-solving skills and data-driven approach.
