Job summary

Calpine Corporation seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer III to support the design, analysis, and reliability of electrical systems across its natural gas-fired and geothermal power plants. You will perform power system studies, develop one-line diagrams and specifications, and ensure compliance with NEC, NESC, IEEE, NERC, and other standards.

You will collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues, lead root-cause analysis, and implement reliability and safety

Qualifications

• Experience designing, analyzing and ensuring reliability of electrical systems in power plants.
• Experience with NEC, NESC, IEEE, NERC and related standards.
• Ability to lead root-cause analysis and implement reliability improvements.
