Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer III in Lake Mary, FL to lead electrical power distribution and signal networks for auxiliary equipment on gas turbine projects.

You will develop detailed drawings, size electrical components, participate in vendor selections, and coordinate with teams to ensure on-time, compliant project delivery. Strong NEC/NFPA70 knowledge and industrial design experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum five years of technical and/or practical experience in industrial facility power distribution design (up to 600VAC and 220VDC).
• Seven years of experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and design the electrical power distribution network and signal network for auxiliary equipment on gas turbine projects.
• Create detailed electrical drawings: single-line diagrams, panelboard schedules, loads lists, motors lists, feeder schematics, BOMs and wiring diagrams.
• Perform calculations and sizing of electrical equipment, cables/conduits, and illumination; maintain BOMs and schedules.
