The Electrical Engineer IIIis responsible for performing electrical power, PV system design, and/or low voltage system engineering tasks for renewable construction projects, under the direct supervision of an Engineering Team Leader as assigned by the Corporate Engineering Manager.The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD knowledge is required as well as knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
Experience:8-12 years of progressive electrical engineering related experience

Education: Associate Degree in Electrical Technology
Experience: 8-12 years of progressive electrical engineering related experience
Travel: 5-15%
Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
Perform electrical design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion. This includes collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams todevelop equipment layouts, one-line diagrams, cable routing, communications systems design, grounding design, equipment selection, and equipment specifications.
Perform (at minimum be familiar with) cable ampacity and trench design using software packages like CYMCAP, ETAP, or AmpCalc.
Modeling (at minimum be familiar with) of grounding system design using software package WinIGS.
