Job summary

GDH is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to support the design, analysis, and execution of electrical projects within industrial facilities. You will work with a multidisciplinary team from concept through commissioning, delivering expertise in power distribution and medium‑voltage systems.

Responsibilities include developing designs, performing short‑circuit, arc‑flash, and grounding studies, producing construction drawings and specifications, and reviewing vendor quotes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering experience in an industrial or EPC environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution systems and supporting standards.
  • Experience in designing and supporting industrial electrical power systems.
  • Proficiency with electrical analysis software such as ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower.
  • Ability to perform or support system studies including short circuit, arc flash, and grounding analysis.
  • Familiarity with equipment procurement, vendor review, construction support, and startup activities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments effectively.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, refining, power, or utility industries is preferred.

  • Utilize electrical system analysis software such as ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower for system modeling and calculations.
  • Manage multiple project tasks independently while maintaining quality and deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to facilitate project progression.

Publishing Pay Range: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 annually

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
