Job summary

GDH is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design, analysis, and execution of electrical power distribution projects. This role involves managing project scopes, budgets, and schedules while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external resources.

You will act as discipline lead from inception through construction, ensuring compliance with IEEE, NEC, and NESC, and guiding technical decisions on grounding, protection, and equipment specification.

Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical Engineering; MS degree preferred.
  • PE licensing preferred or FE with the goal to obtain PE within one year.
  • Minimum of 6 years related engineering experience, with a focus on industrial power distribution.
  • Proven success in medium voltage utility tie-ins and low voltage facility distribution, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IEEE, NEC, and NESC standards.
  • Experience managing electrical projects, including monitoring budgets and coordinating deliverables.
  • Proficiency with electrical design software such as ETAP, EasyPower, or SKM.
  • Ability to read and interpret project schedules via MS Project or Primavera.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime and travel as required.

  • Support safety initiatives and uphold the company's ethical standards in all activities.
  • Assist in developing engineering solutions for complex projects, ensuring innovative and efficient approaches.

Publishing Pay Range: $173,000 - $183,000 annually This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
