Job summary

Hach, a Veralto company, invites applications for an Electrical Engineer III based onsite in Loveland, CO. You will design, develop, and sustain electrical systems underpinning Hach products, including power architecture, control electronics, and sensor interfaces that impact performance and reliability.

The role reports to the Manager, Hardware Engineering, User Facing Systems. You will lead subsystems design, own technical solutions across development and sustaining efforts, and collaborate

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience in product development and/or sustaining engineering.
  • Strong circuit design, system integration, testing, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in cross-functional product development teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for field and manufacturing issues.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that enhance product capability and reliability.

About The Role

Reporting to the Manager, Hardware Engineering, User Facing Systems, the Electrical Engineer III is responsible for the design, development, and sustainment of electrical systems that underpin Hach products. This includes power architecture, control electronics, and sensor interfaces that directly impact product performance, reliability, and scalability.


This position is part of the Engineering team located in Loveland and will be on-site.


In This Role, a Typical Day Will Look Like:


  • Lead the design and development of electrical subsystems, including power systems, control electronics, and sensor interfaces.

  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues impacting product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and customer experience.

The Essential Requirements of the Job Include:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within product development and/or sustaining engineering environments.

  • Strong experience in circuit design, system integration, testing, and troubleshooting.

  • Demonstrated success independently leading technical workstreams and solving complex engineering problems.

  • Experience working in cross-functional product development teams.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.


The compensation range for this role is $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.


We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
