Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of industrial electrical design experience.
• Strong knowledge of industrial wiring, cable assemblies, and harness design.
• Basic knowledge of AC/DC power distribution and industrial control components.
• Experience with electrical CAD systems such as Altium Designer, AutoCAD, DraftSight, or similar.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong engineering documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical schematics for complex industrial equipment.
• Develop cable assemblies and wire harnesses.
• Design wiring solutions according to established engineering standards.
• Select connectors, terminals, wire types, and cable-protection methods.
• Select standard electrical components including breakers, relays, EMO switches, and related devices.
• Design high-flex cable systems.
• Support e-chain routing for moving assemblies.
• Create and maintain accurate electrical engineering documentation.
• Create connector tables.
• Develop labels and related manufacturing documentation.
• Create, structure, and maintain Bills of Materials within Oracle.
• Coordinate BOM information with the Mechanical Engineering team.
• Maintain engineering documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
• Create and support Engineering Change Orders.
• Ensure released engineering documentation is complete and accurate.
• Ensure electrical documentation remains consistent with company engineering standards.
• Support prototype builds; production and manufacturing documentation questions.
• Resolve electrical documentation issues during prototype and production builds.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Firmware, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering teams.
• Support resolution of electrical and mechanical integration issues.
• Resolve assigned engineering issues in a timely manner.
• Support continuous improvement of electrical documentation and design practices.
• Take ownership of assigned engineering tasks and follow through to completion.
• Perform other electrical engineering and design-support duties as assigned.
