RRC Companies in Round Rock, TX is seeking an Electrical Engineer II - Solar to design and support utility-scale PV systems across the US and Canada. The role offers hybrid work options with remote locations and onsite offices.

You will prepare electrical design packages, perform system studies, coordinate with utilities, and support project delivery while traveling up to 10% of the time.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Engineering.
• EIT designation is required.
• Master's degree preferred; PE license or ability to obtain is desirable.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in power systems, solar PV, or renewable energy projects.

Responsabilidades

• Apply electrical engineering principles to design and development of utility-scale solar PV systems.
• Prepare complete electrical design packages (one-line, three-line diagrams, layouts, grounding plans).
• Design and support medium/low voltage systems for solar facilities (inverters, transformers, interconnection).
• Perform electrical calculations (voltage drop, short circuit, cable sizing, grounding).
• Coordinate with utilities and internal teams; review vendor submittals for compliance.
• Travel to project sites (~10%) and support project delivery.
