Job summary

RTX in McKinney/Plano, Texas is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to support the Airborne RF Electronics Department. You will be part of an IPT-led team on a production program in McKinney or Plano and help troubleshoot hardware down to CCA/module level.

Responsibilities include using MATLAB for test data analysis, generating and updating technical documents, drawings and specifications, and collaborating with a cross-functional team to resolve issues and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the internship/co-op session.
• Active enrollment through the internship/co-op period.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting hardware and process issues to circuit card assembly, module and component levels.
• Troubleshooting test sets to component level including analog/digital/radio and microwave circuitry.
• Analyzing test data with MATLAB to ensure test specifications are met.
• Generating and updating documents, drawings, designs and specifications.
