You will supervise construction contractors, develop project cost estimates and schedules, and coordinate funding for capital projects under the Director of Electrical Engineering. The role requires flexibility in hours and the ability to operate a vehicle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Five years experience in electrical engineering with emphasis in power, lighting, and control design.
• Three years indirect supervisory experience including management, providing guidance and training, budgeting, hiring or termination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical design packages for power and lighting systems and ensure compliance for Metra facilities.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of construction contract contractors and provide guidance for design projects prepared by outside consultants.
• Provide capital and maintenance project cost estimates and cost studies; develop project and construction schedules.
