Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineer II for a full-time permanent role in Hawesville, KY 42348. The engineer will troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions in machine control systems, and contribute to efficiency and quality improvements.

The role requires 5+ years of experience with PLC/HMI, Siemens, AutoCAD, and strong communication skills. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology and be able to work independently or

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
Minimum 5+ years working with power distribution, networks, PLC, HMI, and drive hardware/software.
Ability to read and create schematic drawings using AutoCAD.
Strong communication with Operators, Technicians, Management and others.
Able to work independently and in a team with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots and resolves malfunctions in machine control systems and suggests improvements.
Develops and modifies PLC and/or HMI applications and interfacing or embedded control systems.
Participates in setup and commissioning of new systems or upgrading current systems.
Designs, develops, maintains, and modifies instrumentation and control systems.
