Job summary

Southwire Company is hiring an Electrical Engineer II to troubleshoot and optimize machine control systems. You will develop PLC and HMI applications, work on new system setups, and improve efficiency across manufacturing lines.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing, and familiarity with AutoCAD and Electrical CAD. PMP preferred; travel up to 10% domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• 3+ years experience in manufacturing electrical engineering.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and resolves malfunctions in machine control systems.
• Develops and modifies PLC/HMI applications and embedded controls.
• Sets up and commissions new or upgraded systems.
• Reads/writes electrical schematics and CAD drawings.
