Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies seeks an Electrical Controls Technician II for a direct-hire position in White Castle, LA. You will maintain electrical, instrumentation, and control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and networks, ensuring safe operation and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and hands-on training or apprenticeship, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and the ability to work in a team with emergency repair readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and typically 2+ years of relevant training/experience.
• Enrollment in a two-year technical school program or apprenticeship at 2nd-4th level.
• Completion of Certified Trades or technical school program but not Fully Qualified for client competencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical, instrumentation and controls systems including PLCs, HMIs, and networks.
• Operate and maintain turbine/compressor package units and related equipment.
• Plan work, assist budgeting and ensure safety procedures NFPA 70 NEC compliance.
• Manage Maximo workflows: parts, contracts, work orders, procurement.
