Southwire Company in Florence, AL is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer II who will troubleshoot machine control systems and enhance efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years in an industrial setting.

Location: Florence, AL
Under the direction of the Manager of Engineering, the Electrical Engineer II troubleshoots and resolves malfunctions to machine control systems and makes recommendations to improve efficiency or quality concerns.
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
Minimum 3 years experience in industrial / manufacturing environment.
Preferred 5 years experience in industrial / manufacturing environment.
Experience and proficiency with ladder logic/PLC programming, Siemens and Rockwell strongly preferred.
Versatile in ladder logic and various PLC programming languages strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of field control devices (motors, relays, switches, photoeyes, etc.) strongly preferred.
Start to finish electrical control system hardware design experience (control panel and field wiring) preferred.
Knowledge of AC and DC circuitry and electrical concepts preferrred.
