Job description

Position Overview

Electrical Engineer – Optics Electronics Department.

Responsibilities include designing, testing, and troubleshooting advanced electronics for airborne, naval, and land-based military applications.

Responsibilities

• Design advanced electro‑optical solutions that enhance sensing, targeting, and surveillance capabilities.
• Troubleshoot systems that fail factory test or fielded hardware, identify failure causes, document results, and disposition hardware for repair.
• Perform hands‑on lab work in analog and/or digital electronics, including troubleshooting and system integration.
• Use industry‑standard CAE tools and EE lab equipment for design, simulation, and testing.
• Conduct circuit analysis, component selection, and root‑cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Document design approaches, test results, and technical issues in a structured and organized manner.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, support supplier interactions, and contribute to design reviews.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience in fault isolation / root‑cause analysis involving complex electronic systems.
• U.S. citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance active after day 1.

Preferred Qualifications

• Travel to support system integration and test events.
• Experience working in a lab environment with standard Electrical Engineering tools (e.g., vector network analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, digital multimeters, and signal sources).
• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
