Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of related experience
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of related experience
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles and practices
- Ability to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty
- Awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Familiarity with electronics, PLCs, and control systems
- Experience managing small to medium engineering projects
Responsibilities
- Provide technical advice and guidance for assigned electrical engineering projects
- Assist Senior Engineer in developing projects to upgrade site safety, efficiencies and cost controls
- Review and develop recommendations for engineering projects
- Manage small to medium site construction or modification projects
- Administer contracts with vendors for services and equipment
- Develop knowledge of local, state and federal regulations
- Contribute to site budgeting and planning efforts
- Develop and evaluate AFEs for capital funding
- May represent the site on steering committees
- Perform other duties as required
