Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Bagdad, Arizona operations. You will provide technical guidance on electrical engineering projects, support safety and efficiency improvements, and assist with budgeting and planning.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 3 years of related experience or a Master's with 2 years, plus knowledge of electrical engineering principles and control systems. On-site role with a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 3 years’ engineering experience OR Master’s degree with 2 years’ experience.
• Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles with understanding of Mechanical and Process techniques.
• Familiarity with safety practices and hazard awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice for assigned electrical engineering projects.
• Support Senior Engineer in developing projects to upgrade site safety, efficiency and environmental protection.
• Manage small to medium site construction or modification projects and assist in large projects.
