Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting an Electrical Engineer 2 in Los Alamos, NM. The successful candidate will apply broad electrical engineering principles to support facility design, operation, and maintenance within a multi-disciplinary team context for a DOE complex environment.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and the ability to obtain a DOE clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited college or university.
• 3+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Familiar with DOE/NNSA codes, NEC/IBC, and NQA-1.
• Experience developing, facilitating, and reviewing design packages.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical design, analysis, calculations, and evaluations.
• Develop, review, revise, and support engineering design packages.
• Prepare and review engineering documentation and deliverables.
• Provide construction and field engineering support.
• Support system integration across disciplines.
• Apply codes, standards, and DOE requirements to activities.
