Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering seeks an Electrical Engineer to support facility design, operation, and maintenance in Los Alamos, NM. You will perform conventional electrical design, analysis, and package development while coordinating with multi-discipline teams on DOE/NNSA projects.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and familiarity with NEC/IBC codes. Strong communication and CAD skills are essential; eligibility for security clearances may apply.

Qualifications

B.S. in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
3+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and design methodologies.
Familiarity with industry codes and standards (DOE/NNSA/NEC).
Experience developing and reviewing design packages and construction docs.
Proficiency with CAD/drafting software.

Responsibilities

Perform conventional electrical engineering design, analysis, calculations, and evaluations.
Develop, review, revise, and support engineering design packages.
Prepare and review engineering documentation and technical deliverables.
Provide construction, field, and project engineering support.
Support system integration across disciplines and teams.
Utilize engineering tools and practices to complete assignments.
Interface with project personnel, engineers, and operations staff.
Contribute to continuous improvement of quality and efficiency.
