Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering is seeking a Technical Project Manager 2 to oversee and deliver discrete technical construction scope at a DOE/NNSA facility in Los Alamos, NM. The role requires strong project management, nuclear safety awareness, and experience with D&D and DOE/NNSA processes.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, schedules, and risks, providing technical guidance to multi-disciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with NQA-1 and site safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of directly related experience.
• Experience in nuclear facilities or DOE/NNSA environments preferred.
• Experience with decontamination and decommissioning (D&D) in a DOE/NNSA setting.
• Active Q clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned technical construction scope, deliverables, budgets, schedules, risks, and turnover.
• Lead planning, tracking, and execution of DOE Hazard Category 2 facility scope.
• Develop and monitor program budgets, control accounts, and work packages.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams to ensure safe and compliant execution.
• Coordinate with construction, operations, radiological control, and safety groups.
• Ensure compliance with DOE/NNSA requirements and NQA-1.
