Switchgear Power Systems, LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to independently design and document MV/LV switchgear and power distribution projects in a collaborative environment in Wisconsin. You will interpret customer specifications, develop deliverables, coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams, and ensure project quality from order release through production support.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or engineering-related field with 3–7 years using CAD software (SolidWorks Electrical).
• 3–7 years electro‑mechanical engineering experience in production/manufacturing environment.
• Equivalent work experience of at least 7 years may be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Independently design and review electrical systems, including one-lines, three-lines, and control schematics.
• Design power and control systems for MV/LV switchgear, metal-clad/enclosed gear, and PDC.
• Prepare and review submittal and construction drawings, BOMs, and nameplates.
• Perform AC/DC load calculations for CPTs and battery backup systems.
• Coordinate with mechanical/applications engineers to align electrical and mechanical layouts.
• Attend customer meetings for design validation, redlines, or clarifications.
• Identify process improvements and share knowledge with junior staff.
