Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in design, testing and commissioning of building power systems.
• Active Top Secret clearance required to start; willingness to obtain a Polygraph.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and engineering software.
• Familiarity with NEC, NESC, IEEE, IEC, and local building codes.
• Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Originate and execute detailed design with limited supervision.
• Design/integrate normal power distribution and emergency power systems incl. UPS.
• Coordinate device locations with other trades.
• Prepare project specifications and installation methods.
• Analyze electrical distribution systems and perform arc flash studies.
• Document design work using AutoCAD and REVIT.
• Support construction activities and respond to RFIs.
• Assist Project Lead Engineers with project deliverables and scheduling.
• Research and prototype emerging technologies for customer needs.
• Manage time across multiple projects.
