Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering electrical design for mission-critical facilities.

You will develop drawings, specifications, and testing scripts for complex power systems and coordinate with mechanical, architectural, and other trades. The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, 4+ years of relevant experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• 4+ years of experience in design, testing and commissioning of building power systems.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Originate and execute detailed electrical design with limited supervision.
• Design/integrate normal and emergency power distribution systems and UPS.
• Coordinate device locations with other trades and review project equipment submittals.
• Prepare project specifications and perform electrical analysis (short circuit, arc flash, etc.).
• Provide support to construction activities and project leads.
