Job summary

Bartell Machinery Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer 1 to join the engineering department in the United States. This role reports to the Senior Electrical Engineering Manager and requires experience in AutoCAD or similar Electrical CAD programs as well as commissioning (Debug) of equipment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or 10 years as technician / designer.
• Experience with CAD/engineering design and documentation.
• Exposure to commissioning and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design new products or re-design existing products with schematics, control cabinets, layouts.
• Perform commissioning and debug of products.
• Lead design reviews and team meetings.
• Interact with Manufacturing, Sales and Purchasing.
• Ensure designs meet safety and cost targets.
