Salas O’Brien in Cincinnati is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design electrical, lighting, and related systems for new and existing facilities, leading project execution from concept through construction and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

This role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 3–8 years of heavy industrial design experience, FE exam (PE within two years), and proficiency with Etap/SKM/Easy Power, NEC, Revit, AutoCAD, and lighting software.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• 3–8 years of professional electrical engineering experience.
• Minimum 3 years of heavy industrial design experience.
• FE exam completed; PE license within two years.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design: plans, calculations, and studies.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and process teams.
• Interface with clients and lead design reviews and progress meetings.
• Oversee project execution from conception through permitting and construction.
• Perform site assessments and ensure quality reviews for electrical packages.
