Job summary

Salas O’Brien in Cincinnati is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical, lighting, and related systems for new and existing facilities. You will manage project execution from concept through permitting and construction, coordinating with architecture, structural, mechanical, and process teams while interfacing directly with clients.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 3–8 years of heavy industrial design experience, and progress toward PE licensure.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
3–8 years of professional experience.
Minimum 3 years of heavy industrial design experience.
Completed Fundamentals of Engineering exam and on track to obtain Professional Engineer license within two years.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design from concept through permitting and construction.
Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, process, instrumentation disciplines, and equipment suppliers.
Interface with clients and lead project execution and reviews.
Perform electrical calculations and studies (lighting, loading, short circuit, coordination, arc-flash).
Support business growth through technical excellence and project delivery.
