Job summary

Battelle is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer II. This position is located in Oxnard, CA.

The successful candidate will maintain, test, and troubleshoot existing electrical/embedded systems and assist in the design and integration of new systems as part of an engineering team supporting a long-term client program. A bachelor’s degree (or higher), 2–5 years of experience or a master’s degree, US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Level 5 TS clearance, and proficiency with lab

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field with 2–5 years’ experience, or a master’s degree.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain Level 5 TS clearance.
• Solid grasp of electrical engineering concepts and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, testing and troubleshooting existing electrical/embedded systems as part of an integrated technical team.
• Maintaining, testing and troubleshooting existing electrical/embedded systems independently with minimal oversight.
• Collaborating with engineers in Columbus, OH to design, fabricate and integrate new electrical/embedded systems.
• Working with onsite clients and contractors to define system requirements and integrate systems.
• Generating and interpreting electrical schematics.
• Following installation and testing procedures within a strict QA framework.
• Occasional work outside Oxnard, CA area for up to 120 days.
