Job summary

Battelle in Columbus, OH, seeks an Electrical Engineer II to maintain, test, and troubleshoot existing electrical/embedded systems while supporting design and integration of new systems. You will join a team providing technical support for electronic, mechanical and hydraulic systems for a long-term client program.

The role requires a related degree with 2–5 years of experience (or a master’s), strong lab skills, and ability to obtain a TS clearance, with a hybrid work environment and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2–5 years of experience or a Master’s degree in a related field.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
• Physically capable of work from ladders and in confined spaces.
• Solid grasp of basic electrical engineering concepts.
• Experience with lab equipment and standard software tools (C, Matlab, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, test and troubleshoot electrical/embedded systems as part of an integrated team.
• Maintain, test and troubleshoot independently with minimal oversight.
• Design, fabricate and integrate new electrical/embedded systems.
• Generate and interpret electrical schematics.
• Follow installation and testing procedures per client QA system.
