Welbilt is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test, and improve electrical and electromechanical systems for commercial foodservice equipment. The role supports embedded electronics and software in cross-functional projects and requires up-to-date engineering documentation.

The position is onsite in New Albany, IN, reporting to the Director of Engineering. Visa sponsorship is not available, and US work authorization is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 3–5 years of experience in product design, development, testing, validation and manufacturing support.
• Experience with electrical component selection, troubleshooting, verification, and reliability testing.
• Proficient in CAD and electrical design software; CREO experience preferred; familiar with regulatory requirements (UL, CSA, CE, NSF).

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and improve electrical and electromechanical products, components, and systems for foodservice equipment.
• Develop and execute design verification, validation, and test protocols to ensure performance and compliance.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide corrective and preventive actions.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation (schematics, BOMs, wiring models, change records) and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
