Job summary

Faith Technologies seeks an Electrical Engineer II to perform electrical power, lighting, and low voltage system engineering on construction projects under supervision. Proficiency in PC usage, Microsoft Office, and NEC knowledge is required. AutoCAD and Revit skills are mandatory.

Minimum education includes a Bachelor's in Electrical or Architectural Engineering or an Associate in Electrical Technology with related experience. Travel is 5-10%, and work hours run 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering is required.
• 2 years of progressive electrical engineering experience is required.
• Alternative: Associate Degree in Electrical Technology with 6 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Guides Level 1 Engineers and Designers.
• Performs detailed calculations to set construction standards and specs.
• Prepares and studies drawings and electrical specifications to meet standards and client needs.
• Plans layout of electrical construction projects.
• Conducts field surveys and analyzes data to identify power system issues.
• Communicates with internal/external customers about projects.
• Ensures construction activities comply with specs, codes, and requirements.
• Inspects installations for conformance to design and equipment specs.
• Compiles data and writes reports on engineering studies and projects.
• Operates engineering/design software and equipment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
