Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Melbourne, Florida is seeking an Electrical Engineer II specializing in analog, digital, and RF circuit design to influence CNS transceiver products, joining a multifunctional team onsite.

You will collaborate across disciplines, manage obsolescence, troubleshoot, document schematics, and support production transitions while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with at least 2 years of relevant experience or advanced degree.
• U.S. Person required.
• Experience with analog, digital, RF circuit design.

Responsibilities

• Provide design and engineering support for CNS sustainment products.
• Collaborate across power, digital, mechanical, systems, and manufacturing to deliver integrated solutions.
• Managing component obsolescence identification and mitigation.
• Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to circuit card assembly (CCA)/Module and component levels.
• Support transition‑to‑production activities and provide hands‑on troubleshooting and technical support for production teams.
• Perform schematic capture and design documentation.
• Investigate failure trends for root cause and implement corrective actions.
• Use your strong communication skills to present technical information clearly and effectively.
• Be self‑motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
