Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Melbourne, FL is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to design, analyze, and test analog, digital, and RF circuits for CNS transceivers. This onsite role requires collaboration with power, digital, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to deliver integrated solutions in demanding aerospace environments.

The candidate will troubleshoot hardware, perform schematic capture, and drive production transitions while coordinating with multiple teams and customers to meet project

Qualifications

  • Degree in STEM with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree.
  • U.S. Person is required.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, analysis, and test of electrical fundamentals.
  • Experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, and power meters.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and use schematic capture tools.
  • Ability to lead or influence technical efforts within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong track record of collaboration in team environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide design and engineering support for CNS sustainment and new product development.
  • Collaborate with power, digital, mechanical, systems, and manufacturing teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Manage component obsolescence identification and mitigation.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and processes down to CCA/Module levels across analog/digital/RF/power circuits.
  • Support transition-to-production activities and provide hands-on troubleshooting for production teams.
  • Perform schematic capture and design documentation.
  • Investigate failure trends for root cause and implement corrective actions.
  • Present technical information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
