Job summary

PRIME AE Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to join the Columbus area offices. You will support electrical system design across healthcare, education, corporate, and other markets, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors from concept through construction.

Ideal candidates have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited), 7+ years of experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, ACC, and power system analysis tools. PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 7+ years of experience in electrical system design.
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for diverse building types and markets.
• Develop electrical layouts and construction documentation from concept through final design.
• Coordinate with field staff, architects, contractors, and engineers to ensure design intent.
• Perform electrical calculations and analyses to support system design.
• Prepare specifications and project documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, structural, civil, architectural).
• Provide guidance to junior staff as appropriate.
