This position is hybrid, at the discretion of the manager, typically requiring 2-3 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse facility in Rock Hill, SC. No relocation assistance will be provided for this position. We are able to consider all candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future, as we are unable to sponsor visas for this role.
Your Day-to-Day:
The Electrical Engineer II will work independently on engineering design and analysis for nuclear products/projects, including electrical systems, instrumentation, controls designs, and system wiring. They will use Microsoft Office Suite and software packages like ETAP, Mathcad, and Maximo. They will interface with internal functional groups to obtain engineering information, perform planning and scheduling to meet requirements, and evaluate, select, and utilize standards, techniques, procedures, and criteria for developing design documents such as technical evaluations, obsolete parts equivalencies, calculations, and specifications.
