Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to perform electrical power, lighting, and low voltage system engineering tasks on onsite construction projects in Monroe, Louisiana.

You will work under supervision, applying AutoCAD/Revit and NEC knowledge to deliver designs that meet client specifications and codes. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Architectural Engineering (or related path with 2 years of progressive experience, or 6 years with an Associate degree).

• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and NEC knowledge required.
• 2 years of progressive electrical engineering experience or 6 years for related education path.

The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD/Revit knowledge is required as well as knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Architectural EngineeringExperience: 2 years of progressive electrical engineering related experienceorEducation: Associate Degree in Electrical TechnologyExperience: 6 years of progressive electrical engineering related experienceTravel: 5-10%Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday.Location:This position is expected to be onsite in Monroe, Louisiana. Relocation assistance may be offered for those outside of Louisiana who plan to relocate.Onsite training is provided but requires relocation to a WI, KS, IN, or TX facility for 3 months. Lodging, travel, and food are covered by the company during this time.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProvides guidance to Level 1 Engineers and Designers.Performs detailed calculations to compute and establish construction standards and specifications.Prepares and studies technical drawings, and electrical specifications to ensure that installations and designs conform to standards and customer requirements.Plans layout of electrical construction projects.Conducts field surveys and studies diagram and other data to identify and correct power system problems.Confers with internal and external customers to discuss existing or potential construction projects.Provides guidance to ensure that construction activities comply with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.Inspects completed installations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications.Compiles data and writes reports regarding existing and potential engineering studies and projects.Operates computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.Performs other related duties as required and assigned.The job description and responsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employee's ability to perform the position described.
