Job Opportunity - Electrical Engineer II - Industrial Power/Control Systems - Fort Worth/Dallas

I'm seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer II to join my client's engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in power and control systems who enjoys hands-on project work from design through testing. You’ll contribute to critical, safety-focused engineering projects in a highly regulated industry, supporting both development and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems and components used in high-integrity environments
• Create and update technical documentation including schematics, test plans, and reports
• Work with power and control equipment such as motor control centers, switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, and relays
• Conduct design reviews and support qualification testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues during manufacturing and testing
• Ensure all work meets internal quality standards and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field w/ demonstrated industry experience (industrial, manufacturing, or energy sector preferred)
• Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD tools
• Strong understanding of power distribution, control systems, and electrical testing practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with safety-critical or highly regulated industries (nuclear, aerospace, defense, etc.)
• Hands-on exposure to equipment like motor control centers, switchgears, starters, control panels, or other kinds of power equipment.
