- Develop detailed electrical specifications, schematics, and production drawings for overhead crane equipment using computer-assisted drafting (AutoCAD/Solidworks) software.
- Review customer schematics and specifications to ensure conformance with electrical codes and design requirements.
- Generate detailed Bill of Materials for electrical designs.
- Assist in troubleshooting and provide technical support for electrical components.
- Develop standard electrical design procedures, templates, and documents.
- Collaborate with the mechanical engineering and manufacturing groups.
- Work with the basic features of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.

8 am - 5 pm

Essential Functions
- Develop detailed electrical specifications, schematics, and production drawings for overhead crane equipment using computer-assisted drafting (AutoCAD/Solidworks) software.
- Review customer schematics and specifications to ensure conformance with electrical codes and design requirements.
- Generate detailed Bill of Materials for electrical designs.
- Assist in troubleshooting and provide technical support for electrical components.
- Develop standard electrical design procedures, templates, and documents.
- Collaborate with the mechanical engineering and manufacturing groups.
- Work with the basic features of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- 2-8 years of applicable in the field of electrical schematic layout & design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for detailing electrical schematics and drawings.
- Extensive knowledge of electric motors and motor drives.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical codes and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently, with minimum supervision, and as part of a team.
- Must be organized and have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Overhead crane design experience or VFD crane controls experience
- Knowledge of hoist and crane industry standards and regulations (e.g., CMAA).
- Experience with Solidworks or similar 3D CAD programs
