Zachry Nuclear Engineering, Inc. is seeking an electrical engineer to perform a variety of engineering and design activities for power plant upgrades and new projects under the supervision of senior engineering staff. The role involves calculations, modifications, and design work to improve performance, safety, and reliability.

Education: BS in electrical engineering is required; MS is preferred. Experience with power distribution systems and ETAP/SKM software is valued.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations, modifications, and designs to improve plant performance, safety, and reliability.
• Assist with evaluation, selection and application of standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures and criteria.
• Work on power plant upgrades and new projects under the supervision of senior engineering staff.
