Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field with internship experience in design and product development.
• Knowledge of power electronics, power distribution, circuit board design, and/or semiconductors is preferred.
• Motivated and engaged; comfortable in a team environment but also able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems while working closely with senior Engineers
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in existing products or systems and make modifications as needed
• Compile and evaluate design and test data
• Analyze, develop, and recommend design approaches
• May use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software in performance of assignments
• Provide regular reporting of progress and status
• Review customer specifications and requirements and develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable
